Thank You

Thanks for all your comments on safe streets, we are now in the process of assessing these and drawing up a list of schemes for delivery from various funding pots. We have categorised your comments into short, medium and long term responses, including vegetation clearances, barrier removals, temporary cycle lanes, cycle lane segregation, cycle parking facilities and filtered neighbourhoods, to name a few. You can expect to see these improvements across the city over the coming weeks and months.

Once again, a massive thank you to you everyone that got involved as this would not have been possible without you. We hope that Salford will be an easier and safer place to walk and cycle thanks to your help.

See some of our longer term plans to boost cycling and walking here: https://www.salford.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/cycling-and-walking/mayor-s-cycling-and-walking-challenge-fund/
